Bowl Championship Series (BCS) rankings are produced as a combination of voted polls and computer models to determine the participants in the national championship game. Teams selected to the 2-team field are asterisked. FEI ratings represent opponent-adjusted per possession scoring efficiency. Strength of record ratings are the difference between actual wins and expected wins against the schedule for an elite team (EWD), a good team (GWD), and an average team (AWD). Record splits include records against FEI top-10 (v10), top-20 (v20), top-30 (v30), top-40 (v40), top-50 (v50), top-60 (v60), and against all other opponents (vO).
